Northwest Mining currently have a position available for an experienced Auto Electrician to join our rapidly growing team. By joining our team, you will become a key component in ensuring we are able to provide quality servicing, repairs and maintenance to our customers in a timely manner.
Based in Muswellbrook NSW, Northwest Mining specialises in mine support including Automotive Services, Labour Hire, Equipment Hire and Fabrication Services. We currently have over 70 technically skilled employees and are looking to expand the services we offer to our customers. Locally owned and operated, Northwest Mining offer flexible working arrangements and ample opportunity for professional development.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Complete all maintenance task on mobile earthmoving equipment
- Attend breakdowns and call outs in a timely fashion
- Able to problem solve, troubleshoot and fault diagnosis of equipment both in the workshop and in the field
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to work health and safety standards
- Provide records of repairs, servicing and defects in a timely manner
Skills And Experience
- Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology
- Certificate II Automotive Mechanical – Air conditioning
- Valid drivers licence
- Mine site experience
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Clear communication skills; both verbal and written
- The ability to work unsupervised and independently, as well as in a team
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Able to pass Coal Board Order 43 Medical
