Based in Muswellbrook NSW, Northwest Mining specialises in mine support including Automotive Services, Labour Hire, Equipment Hire and Fabrication Services. We currently have over 70 technically skilled employees and are looking to expand the services we offer to our customers. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Provide routine servicing on our customers heavy vehicles, as well as our own vehicles and equipment
- Perform defect repair work on a variety of vehicles, including troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Accurate and timely completion of job cards and client specific paperwork, detailing repairs, servicing and defects
- Attend breakdowns and callouts in a timely manner
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to work health and safety standards
Skills And Experience
- Heavy vehicle mechanical trade (or similar)
- Heavy vehicle drivers licence (preferred but not essential)
- Heavy vehicle inspection tickets (preferred but not essential)
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Clear communication skills; both verbal and written
- The ability to work unsupervised and independently, as well as in a team
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
- A professional approach to their work
